Did you try hooking up to all three nics one at a time?
Did you set your PC to an ip address in the same subnet as what you specified 
in the Endian install?
IE... if you set Endian to 192.168.0.254 set PC to 192.168.0.1 subnet 
255.255.255.0 and then try to connect. This step is left out of the doc you 
specified.
