Hi, the hwdetect script uses kudzu to detect hardware. afterwards the mounts are done for filesystems. But: the hwdetect script wants to write to /var/log/pcimodules when /var isn't mounted yet (only /root is mounted in my XEN environment when hwdetect is called)
