One more thing, when I say bridge I mean custom, when you run the vmware
configuration utility you choos the type of interface that you want, select
bridge and then pick the physical interface (red-internet)then assign it to
the vmnet interface that you want, like vmnet3.  Then on the vmware console
manager assign the nic using custom and then specify the virtual interface
you want in this case vmnet3 would be for your red interface.....
