Can you be more specific as to what Web Server Software you are running on both web servers? (i.e. iis or apache?)
As is my case: I have Domain1 dns pointing to my ip, Domain2 dns also pointing to my ip. Domain1 resides on iis7 server while Domain2 resides on apache2 server. All port 80 traffic is directed via firewall to Domain1/iis7 server where I have a website directory setup for each DomainName. The Domain2 directory points to the URL path of the site located on the apache2 server which is also listening on port 82. I also have port 82 traffic forwarded via the firewall to this server so that the client receiving the redirect gets to the site as it should. The same rules above apply to redirecting based on host header information and is a function of your site folder setup and directives of the web server software...This is a simple way to do what you are wanting...I'm sure there may be other ways.
