Try the following: Proxy -> Default Settings - > Allowed Clients and choose the clients you want to access the internet with.
This worked successfully block BitTorrent in last stable releases of EFW. However in 2.2Beta 1 it seems to be broken. I chose IE snd FireFox only, saved/reload and also did a save/restart http proxy. Neither worked. I cannot reboot the firewall nor should one have to, to make this work. I have not had time to upgrade again to 2.2RC1, etc. The last time I did, i restored from a backup and had some of problems which I posted here in the past with no response...oh well...what can you do :( mulysatest mulysatest wrote: > > As I knew EFW got feature to block bittorent but problem is torrent can > run > on any port even 80. > So, how can we detect that it torrent or not? > I need to block them all. > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. > It's the best place to buy or sell services for > just about anything Open Source. > http://sourceforge.net/services/buy/index.php > _______________________________________________ > Efw-user mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/efw-user > > -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/How-to-block-bittorrrent-tp18066131p18164956.html Sent from the efw-user mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
