Try the following: 

Proxy -> Default Settings  - > Allowed Clients and choose the clients you
want to access the internet with.

This worked successfully block BitTorrent in last stable releases of EFW.
However in 2.2Beta 1 it seems to be broken. I chose IE snd FireFox only,
saved/reload and also did a save/restart http proxy. Neither worked. I
cannot reboot the firewall nor should one have to, to make this work. I have
not had time to upgrade again to 2.2RC1, etc. The last time I did, i
restored from a backup and had some of problems which I posted here in the
past with no response...oh well...what can you do :(
