Hi You need to download the developer rpms and install them into a directory then chroot into that directory and you'll have your compiler. note some of the dependencies are missing so if you are going to do kernel compiles be aware of this .. you can use centos 4 RHEL 4 srpm, some of the rpms work but not all ..
