Cheaper interfaces usually have small or no buffers. It is usually better to stick with better cards like 3com or Intel.
The issue is clearly occuring on RED, as even with no web traffic from green, ping times from the EFW box out are spiking. Would a buffer issue occur on both cards? And if so, why does the same not happen with similar cards in enduser pcs that are directly connected to the internet? -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Latency-on-RED-%282.1.2%29-tp18901489p18987907.html Sent from the efw-user mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Efw-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/efw-user
