sorry, I didnt see the attachment. Nice picture. One more question. What is a MIOL router? Is MIOL a brand, or some mil spec, or what?
The endian could be placed between the MIOL router and internet, or it could replace the MIOL router (if MIOL is a simple router), or it could go between the MIOL router and the switch. (JASN-01-RO-01?) It has to be inline with the only route to the internet. Being a router, the efw will have to be set to forward ports to the next router back, or the servers for inbound traffic. If placed before the MIOL, the web/mail servers could be placed on red. However, if your users need to access the servers for file/print service, they would be better placed on green with them. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Where-to-place-Endian-Firewall-on-My-Network--tp19831488p19847448.html Sent from the efw-user mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Efw-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/efw-user
