Lots of Mike's here... but I'll respond with my current situation. I'm running 2.2RC2 and looking to migrate to 2.2RC3. This firewall is in a lab environment in my enterprise. Unfortunately, some of the users in this lab environment seem to think that lab=production... so, I'm required to time my transition with that in mind.
I chose going with 2.2RC2 because of the issues with 2.1.2 and updating the AV. I had other implementations (at client sites) that were running 2.1.2 and experienced the 30-minute boot issue, and didn't want that headache in my own environment. 2.2RC2 looked to be doing well until recently. My iptables has become disconnected from the firewall interface in some way. I've had to go in a the console and augment my firewall rules to re-open ports... even to allow myself back into the web-gui interface. Odd. I'm also experiencing issues with NTOP failing. All this being said, it is important to note that it could have been one of my engineers playing with something he shouldn't that broke it... that's why I've not run screaming to the forum with this issue. Another note is that I have issues running SIP connections (packet8) at my home through any of the 2.2 releases I've tried. I'm currently running a pfSense box at my home for this reason. I expect to get 2.2RC3 rolled out in my lab either this weekend of by the end of next week. I'll post back how things go once it's up and running. I also plan on testing 2.2RC3 at my house... but free time at home is something I can only dream of right now.
