I have been running EFW for a long time now, about five years connecting three
satellite offices to the HQ over ADSL using IPSEC for the VPN.
I have just completed upgrading all the old firewalls to 2.2 (not going to 2.3
yet due to so many people complaining!) and have noticed that the VPN section
is much improved.
Is there a performance increase in going to OpenVPN over IPSEC for LAN to LAN?
Also, at present I am using Netgear DG834 in modem only mode, would there be
any performance increase in using PCI ADSL devices?
