Please go to

http://www.enhydra.org/software/documentation/enhydra/javadoc/index.html

and click on "DBTransaction" in the lower left frame.  The resulting page 
in the right hand frame will contain an example on the use of DBTransaction.

I have not used the DBTransaction interface myself yet.
