Dear Colleagues, The Interoperability Clearinghouse is formalizing as a govt. sanctioned 501C6 non-profit organization this quarter. We will be establishing several categories of membership to help map key information elements into this internet based knowledge repository of standards, "validated & interoperable COTS product suites" and associated implementation services. Those interested in providing support for this joint government/industry effort, and help major industries shorten their technology adoption process, please respond to the following questionnaire by COB March 24 if your organization is interested in becoming one of the "founding fathers". This is not a statement of commitment, but a means of assessing what industry groups would be best represented. Please indicate your interest areas; _ Am interested in participating in the IC Coalition _ Am interested in seeing validated standards or product profiles _ Am willing to sharing testing, implementation configuration results _ Would be willing to pay a small fee to access an internet based configurator for finding optimal set of "interoperable product suites" _ Am interested in using the IC List server for RFI/RFP notifications _ Am willing to share lessons learned in exchange of accessing all others _ Am interested in some of the more interactive support services provided to its members (_IT architecture support, _technology studies, _tools reports, _RFP development, _technology education) Am interested in participating the upcoming Industry@OOTS (object oriented technology solutions) executive forums where these validated architecture frameworks are outlined by industry (healthcare, finance, government, manufacturing, telecommunications) in the following manner; _ speaking/presenting _ sponsoring _ attending _ chairing _ Please call to set up an onsite brief for our organization. On March 25th, the AFCEA MD chapter will be hosting a breakfast meeting on the Interoperability Clearinghouse and want to know if your organization should be included in the list of potential participants. Afterwards, we will be conducting the IC Work Group meeting. Time and place will be provided to all respondents.
