Hi,
I'm looking for examples of real world projects for the use of EJB,
preferrably in a web environment.
It would be great to have the following info
- short description of the application
- used EJB product (maybe related software like http server, servlet
engine or DBMS)
- used hardware
- throughput figures (requests that are actually handled/could
theoretically be handled)
- was the move to EJB the right decision?
Any comments or pointers to resources on the web anyone?
We are currently thinking of reimplementing a number of database driven
websites on top of EJB
(they are now based on apache and mod-perl using an OO-Framework that
was written in perl5 but the lack of decent support for multithreading
and CORBA in perl has brought this to a dead end in terms of
scalability) and would like to hear from people who have already done
things like that.
Thanks,
Robert
