Well, actually I think you are right. Point 3 was more or less the same as
point 2. It is about dynamically deploy beans. With customization by
deployment descriptor you have to do all the work "by hand", e.g. use a
deployment tool, etc. With customizers you can have for example other
enterprise beans customize a bean as necessary at runtime, which seems to me
much more dynamic and flexible.
