MIke Porter asks about generic Home objects:

I've implemented this type of feature to allow you to take advantage of
polymorphism in the creation of EJB objects and execution of finder
methods.  My solution caches EJB Home objects to try and keep the
network traffic down to a manageable level.  As you surmise, I used
reflection to implement this.
