I have been trying for nine months to get off this list. Only one person
has responded to my pleas (Peter Morgan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>). He directed
me to [EMAIL PROTECTED], from whom I never got a reply.
Following is what Peter Morgan wrote me on March 24, 1999. Note that he
says "if this has failed (which I'm sure it has)". What does he know
that I don't? Why is he "sure" that the signoff won't work?:

>>[EMAIL PROTECTED], I'd like to know about it!
I have filtered mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] to land in my
Netscape Trash folder, but I still have to delete things manually from
the folder after connecting up to the mail server. All this
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mail chokes up my emailbox when I'm on the
road on business. People have complained that mail they sent to me is
returned with the message "mailbox is full".
Curiosity occasionally moves me to look at some of the mail before I
delete it. That's how I saw your message. There is some interesting
stuff from time to time, but I still want to get off the list on
principle.
It's a bummer!
