Hi!, In 1.1 Deployment DTD, cmp-fields mention name of field, and is supposedly to be of primitive data type.I have a CMP manged bean, which has an instance var of type custom Object, whose data can come from different sources at deployment time. But in the present 1.1 descriptor, there is no mention for cmp fields for Objects, its only valid for primitive data types. Shouldn't it support a type attribute which will tell whether it is a primitive or Object type(conforming to JavaBean introspection) so that container can introspect and pass it to OR Mapping tools at deployment time. With present DTD, one can't distribute CMP EJB with Object data vars. Any comments.
