In the context of an e-commerce project, the company ATG (Art Technology Group) has been mentioned as a potential candidate for our e-commerce package application (EJB based application server plus personalization engine). It is being used in at least one other PS project as well as for the MySun, its headquarters are located in Cambridge, MA. As we are preparing new proposals for other .COM engagements, I was interested to know more about any assessment by Sun Java engineering and marketing of ATG products. E.g. beside any official statement, would you have any evaluation report (performance, quality, EJB compliance, Sun partnerships, positioning versus our Sun Netscape/Alliance products) related to ATG ? A first draft of the proposal is due for next week, so I would appreciate any relevant information or pointer.
