For those who are not aware, JMS/EJB integration is one element of the
EJB 2.0 work that is now in progress under the Java Community Process.
This work will result in a standard architecture for EJBs that produce
and consume messages via JMS.
Since this capability is of great interest to both EJB vendors and
users, there are already some vendors who are providing implementations
in advance of this work. These implementations will likely quickly
converge on the standard once it is available. You should not expect
apps written to use these early JMS/EJB implementations to be fully
portable.
