I believe that EJB1.1 does not have a provision for multiple interfaces
to a bean. This is where the CORBA Component Model (CCM) had shown some
initiative. [The last time I checked, the CCM working group was actively
working to provide inter-operability with exisiting EJB spec.]

This should be on the list of features to be considered for EJB2.0. The
other areas where CCM was attractive were: an event model and
co-location of components based upon "application" affinity. I believe
an event model will get addressed wrt JMS integration, but I am not
sure about the co-locality part of it. Maybe someone who is part of
both the CCM process and the EJB2.0 community process can share the
current thinking wrt these.

BTW, COM+ (and MTS as its prior incarnation) has been supporting
events and multiple interfaces for some time now.
