Does the EAServer 3.5 use the DBMS for state replication
or through direct messaging between servers in the cluster?

<vendor>
Sybase EAServer 3.5 supports stateful failover, i.e. an EJB stateful session
bean running on one server in an EAServer 3.5 cluster can transparently fail
over to another server in the cluster. This is only enabled on request, as
the overheads of saving the state for every transaction cannot be justified
if stateful failover is not required. Note: EAServer 3.5 has not yet shipped
in GA form, but is due out this quarter (hopefully this month).
