I use Ejipt (valto.com) on Linux with the Blackdown Java 2 compiler. I also use
Hypersonic SQL (http://www.lynx.ch/Contacts/~/ThomasM/hSql.html) as the
underlying relational db. Both work fine on Linux. (no, I don't work for Valto
