Hi I am new to EJB and have a question regarding locating EJB objects. I have a firewall restriction where only IIOP can be used to locate EJB objects. Question 1) Can I locate an EJB object using IIOP. Do I have to publish the EJB Object as a CORBA object in order to do so. I believe that I can use JNDI in order to locate the object. Can JNDI use COS Naming to locate the EJB Corba object. I know it doesnt sound right, the dependence on CORBA just because I am restricted to using IIOP. On the other hand what is the recommended Naming and Directory Service where these EJB objects are normally registered. Can the use of RMI over IIOP circumvent this problem. I am sure I am missing something very basic. Any help will be great Thanks Bholey =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff EJB-INTEREST".
