Hello,
Yes it is easy to run the normal Java Client with PowerTier , but it is
really a problem to run the Applet. One thing you have to check is that are
you Sending all the .jar files ie ...ejb.jar , ....client.jar and required
ps-....jar file along with the applet.
The best solutions to this is to use JSPs - SERVLETs - EJBs, to avoid this
problem.
Thank you,
Regards.

Subject: Powertier client problem
I am trying to run an EJB client in an applet using PowerTier 6 but am
having problems. If the client is a normal Java app then it works fine but
if I make the client an applet, then the Services.init call fails. Its very
difficult to see why as Internet Explorer or the applet viewer just die
completely and I can't get the J++ debugger to stop anywhere if I use
Netscape as the browser. This happens outside of the debugger as well as in
it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jon
