TheServerSide.com is an online community dedicated to Enterprise JavaBeans
(EJB) and the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE). TheServerSide.com
is completely free of charge, is vendor-neutral, and is meant to help the
developers and managers out there who are using this technology in the
field.

Initially, the web site has the following features:

* The latest news about middleware
* A discussion area for developers to share ideas
* A repository of server-side design patterns
* A collection of user-submitted application server reviews
* Resources to help developers and managers in their deployments

As we are brand-new, we're hoping that the community-at-large can help us
spread the word about this vendor-neutral industry initiative. You can help
out by contributing news, articles, design patterns, and app server reviews.
And of course, give out our URL to your co-workers!

If you're a middleware vendor, feel free to post your press releases and
contact us to list information about your middleware product.

In short, I've been waiting for a web site like this to launch for some time
now. Eventually, I was frustrated enough and we decided to build it
ourselves. So please join us and let's work together to make this web site a
resource the community can be proud of!

Best Regards,
-Ed
