I'm quite familiar with Linux and I'm doing my prototype
with Inprise Application Server under Linux.
It's very stable and a good environment.

What I don't have any experience with is Linux on an SMP.
Has anyone run EJB or other Java app's with native threads on a
multi-CPU Linux box.

My last Java project we deployed on Sun 450's with 4 GB RAM and 4 CPUs.
They where hot!

At my current job the choice is SGI or Linux.
Few EJB servers run under SGI and I really like IAS under Linux.
Now I just want to know how to scale it for deployment. From my
experience with the Sun's I really like native threads running on
several CPUs but
I thought I saw some disclaimers about native threads this on the Sun
Linux
JDK.
