Actually, IAS 4.1, which is currently in Beta, provides the ability to
map an entity bean across multiple tables using CMP. These tables
could even be sitting in multiple DBMSs, which would leverage the
JDBC/XA-based two-phase commit capabilities also featured in IAS 4.1.
