I read the question as wanting to know if a mixed model was possible - data
being modified by (say) JDBC as well as via EB's.
The answer is yes. It is completely allowed to create/access a row using
JDBC (or any other method) as well as via EB's. Watch out for primary key
values. Locking/concurrent updates should be OK.
Note that, if business data logic is in the EB's, it would be possible to
'corrupt' the database by using non-EB access.
