That's not possible in the context of a http (web) client, at least
presently. The only thing you would be able to do is place a java/etc
client on the page and do the transport that way, or make a specific
frame that gets periodically refreshed.
(because frame=page to the web client)

Interesting to know that , but havent seen any thing related to having a
part of the html page being periodically refreshed without the whole page
coming through , as a part of the EJB discussions.
Was wondering if you could point me to resources on that one
