This is an option in jBoss (settable in the deployment XML per
application), and the default value is "No restrictions". IMHO this
should be yes, but since JDBC drivers tend to break when setting this to
true (as they don't use doPrivileged properly) this is better. For now
at least.

Me too, but more importantly I think I understand the intent behind
these restrictions (Server-side WORA, plain and simple). And I agree
100% with them.
