This is not a physical requirement at all, but rather just a logical idea.
If you see section 9.1.1 it will give you two solutions to the 'logical'
idea that there be but one single entity.  Basically you can have two actual
instances of the bean (one logical EJBObject) in the container at the data
is syncrhoized at the persistant store, or, one instance and it is
synchronized at the container.

IMHO option #1 is better since if the persistant store is an RDBMS it will
insure consistancy anyways even with option #2 so why duplicate effort.  The
only issue with option #1 is the formation of local diamonds which must be
detected by the container.
