Yes, we have customers running Orion on AS/400 so even though it might not be the
most common platform for our product we know that it works and is used in
production environments.
However, there's a few steps you need to perform on the AS/400 to work around
some quirks in the environment. For example you will want to run CRTJVAPRGM on
Orion with no optimization (the JIT compiler has some bugs), and make sure that
optional IBM libraries, like their jndi.jar, do not get added to the VM you run
Orion in.
