You may want to take a look at the Orion application server
developed by the Evermind company. It supports J2EE functionality although
the J2EE compliance is not certified (i.e. it has not passed the
Compatibility Test Suite). It is free for development and costs only $1,500
for deployment. I have used it and I was pleased with it. The URL for
