Our system uses stateful session beans to store information collected via a
series of wizard screens.
The JSP, after setting all the attributes of the session bean, calls the
finish() method.
The finish() method creates the relevant entity beans, persists the data
etc.
My question is: what, if any, is the advantage of using session beans for
this purpose rather than using a JavaBean with application scope + a
stateless session bean?
Is one more reliable than the other, or faster than the other, or in some
other way superior?
Or is the choice merely a matter of style?
