My comments are:
(1) It won't be long before most of the vendors have support for read-only
entity bean methods (to avoid unnecessary ejbStore calls).
(2) Automatic transaction retry can be effective with optimistic concurrency
control.
(3) A well-designed CMP architecture can eliminate the requirement for the
bean programmer to deal with most of the issues that you discussed.
