Websphere V3.5 now offers the ability to start a class at server startup. I
haven't found it documented anywhere, but there has been some information
posted on the Websphere Discussion Group regarding this. This is
implemented by developing class which implements
com.ibm.ejs.sm.server.ServiceInitializer and including this as a startup
parameter for the Websphere Server.
