Well, actually it is possible. I've done this out of necessity for
development purposes only. You are EXTREMELY limited in what you are
able to accomplish and of course there is much disk thrashing.
All but the most basic EJB will force NT/2000 with significantly more
memory. Linux is another alternative of course.
As an alternative, JBoss (jboss.org) has a much smaller foot print, but
again for any serious production work a bigger box is a must.
