I think you mean that IP broadcast requires that all machines be on the
same subnet, i.e. they all use the same subnet mask. This subnet can be of
any size described by a vlsm.
TCP multi-cast is not limited to a single bridged network; use multi-cast
capable routers...
Not a vendor, don't use Weblogic. Just an ex router guy.
