Right. The Handle object allows us access to the same EJB Object, and
therefore the same *type* of session bean....

actually...the session bean is called a SESSION bean because it does not
store data *between* sessions....
What you need to see is the difference between persistence of the
*reference* to a session bean, and persistence of a session bean
itself...the former is what you are referring to, and the latter doesnt
happen.
