Hi Reddy,
yaa.. u got the problem coeectly. but see.. i tried without helper class also . but 
problem didn't get solved.
about ur design.. actually in my code, there is a session bean which calls some helper 
object's method which inturn calls create of this entity bean.so it is same as 
wrapping entity bean in session bean. and the entity bean is not container managed. 
onlythe transaction is container managed.
i also tried using usertransaction  class. but it couldn't solve the problem.
