(OTC BB: GLTI) Recent price of $0.31 with a 52 week high of $23.78. BentleyTel and iPass(TM) Execute an Agreement for a 150 Country Global Roaming Access for the BentleyTel Range of Cards February 2, 2001-- Global TeleMedia International announced today that its majority owned subsidiary BentleyTel.com has executed an agreement with iPass Inc. Headquartered in Redwood Shores, California, iPass, a global networking service provider which has sales offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific enables roaming services for BentleyTel clients in 8,000 global locations which are frequented by business travelers such as airports, hotels, and conference centers, referred to as ``hotspots.'' President Jonathon Bentley-Stevens said, ``The relationship with iPass will give BentleyTel members roaming access to the BentleyTel network via a global network with a 150 country footprint. This means members do not have to be concerned about finding a local ISP and signing up for the duration of their trip or being charged dramatically by Global ISP's for access when out of country dial up is required. This agreement will allow for seamless access for all Smart-e-Card and BentleyTel AcSys card holders while also allowing iPass to connect to the Australian BentleyTel VoIP national network.'' This is one of the final network agreements to be executed prior to the release of the BentleyTel cards. It means BentleyTel card holders can utilize any one of the 8,000 local dialup POP's and access the BentleyTel web site to use any one of the Company's range of services such as BentleyTel online banking, Smart-e-Card re-valuing, international real-time funds e-transfers and message, fax and e-mail retrieval from the BentleyTel hosted Ericsson Global Unified Messaging system and other financial critical business platforms and applications from almost any corner of the world. Owning an ISP/VoIP/ITSP network and by controlling and/or managing the networks utilized by our products, it is much harder for the competition to breach our security and determine the architecture in order to copy the product. No one gives you market share, you have to take it and, if possible, take it by surprise. The Company believes that the BentleyTel range of cards with such a multi-function platform could become the benchmark for financial card development. Global TeleMedia International, Inc., located in Newport Beach, California, through its BentleyTel.com subsidiary, is a leading developer of Smart-e-Cards (www.smart-e-card.net) interactive software for complex E-commerce solutions, Voice over IP, LAN VPN (Virtual Private Network), ISP, Virtual ISP. GTMI also owns manufacturing, telecom, ISP, and software development facilities in the USA, Australia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
