Unfortunately, this is the sort of minor detail that falls between
the cracks in the specification. So, an answer can be provided
for any specific appserver, but I don't believe a definitive answer
can be provider from the specification. Over time, I expect the
specifications will be tightened up, and these types of issues will
be standardized.
