Hi Ramesh ,
I chose oci815_8...logically even others should work ...the driver name i
give during configuration is "weblogic.jdbc.oci.Driver" ...i am a beginner
...not aware of things in much detail so conceptually i know little as in
how drivers work ....but just copy the dll from the above mentioned
directory to weblogic\bin so that u dont to have separately configure ur
path ...
regards
Vinodh

Hi,
<Vendor>
you have additionally to set your path and include the directory where the
weblogicoci36.dll
is stored ( usually in %WL_HOME%\bin\%oracle_version% ) before starting
WebLogic.
e.g. set PATH=%PATH%;c:\bea\wlserver6.0\bin\oci816_7
</Vendor>
Because library - path means on Windows - Machines "PATH" and on unix -
machines
"LD_LIBRARY_PATH", but not classpath.
Regards,
Johann
