Dear all ,
I would be glad if anyone could help me in this out. My aplogies for
including a vendor specific question on this forum.
I am running my weblogic 5.1 on Windows 2000. I usually start weblogic from
the programs menu. Now my requirement is to include some jars ( thrid
party--classes12.zip and some xml parser jar) in my classpath in order to
let my beans use them , also helper classes to use them. There should be
a way of configuring Weblogic5.1 for accessing the third party classes by
setting the classpath. As I always start my weblogic from the programs
menu, I wouldn't know where to configure the classpath. Thou i tried
somethings as follows
tried to include the property ---weblogic.class.path=....myclasspath in the
weblogic properties file........
this didnt work ....
i am left with another option of setting all the neccessary classpaths in
my setEnv and start the weblogic server from the command prompt. This has
come up with another problem of not being able to use the existing oci.dll
( now i had copied that file from oracle's 8i bin directory and put it in
my weblogic's bin). So its like i am tied on both ends. I don't have much
time to research on fixing this. I would be glad if anyone of you can help
me solve this problem
warm regards
Thanks in advance
Vinodh
