Is log4j creating any threads? Could this break the EJB spec?
Does anyone have experience using log4j within an EJB app server? (I'm
specially interested in WL and JBoss). I have heard (could be just a rumor)
that JBoss uses log4j as the underlying logging framework.

I haven't tried it for that purpose.
However, there is no reason why it can't be used!
