What version of IAS are you using? Any version before 6.0 sp3 has alot of
problems with RMI-IIOP. The most common problem is the class loading issue
which iPlanet has a suggested workaround for:
http://developer.iplanet.com/ias-samples/j2eeguide/docs/converter.html#rmi-classloader-workaround,
another common problem is that the cxs (IIOP bridge) process sometimes dies
on exception.
If you are using SP3, just follow the converter sample at:
http://developer.iplanet.com/ias-samples/j2eeguide/docs/converter.html
