yes... the general motivation for an entity bean is "Not frequently modified
but frequently accessed " Objects/Data.
But if you don't have any other entity beans ..don't go for an entity beans
just for this...coz that will impact your scalability and what not...
Stateless session bean is a good alternative.
but you will have to carry the validation/validated info(like a backend
generated GUID or any unique ID) back and forth.
