I'm using a SOLARIS 8 box with 2 gig memory, two 400 megahertz CPUs. A pretty underpowered machine. The app server is WebSphere 3.5.
I'm testing a simple stateless session bean. The slsb just returns a string. The remote client is a servlet. We've noticed that with 150 simulated users, with no think time, we're getting a 1.5 second response. Response is much better at a lower number of users. Just wondering if this is expected or way out of line and if there are any recommended app server tuning tweeks .
