For those who are interested. I have done some research into the behaviour recently displayed by Zahid Rahman on this list, and have come to the conclusion that he is suffering from ASP (aka "psychopathy"). He displayed most of the warning signs in his posts, and you may want to read up on this condition here: http://www.geocities.com/lycium7/ If nothing else, it is good to know about it for self-protection.
The most common reason for this condition is suppressed anger, which we only saw faint glimpses of here. Thank god he didn't blow up. There is unfortunately nothing anyone here can do about it, except unsubscribe him. The best way to deal with it is to not respond. The only reason I submitted my series of questions (after I myself had told everyone to shut up) was in order to identify how bad it was, and to be sure of my suspicions. This is a drastic conclusion, and one should be 100% sure before making it. Such questioning should normally only be done by professional therapists in a controlled environment, which is his only hope of recovery now. Ridicule, while it may be "fun" for us, would only help fuel his sad state, and is not advisable. thanks for listening, Rickard ps.
