Using ServiceToWorker Pattern

Hi all I was thinking of using the S2W pattern and it says that Helper is passed to the View(JSP). How would this be done if the helper is an Value Object for example???    see http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/restricted/patterns/ServiceToWorker.html   TIA Glenn
